Dividing police practical subjects into:
|
- Basic subjects distributed over the four years of study:
- Military disciplinary training “Infantry “.
- General fitness " Physical Fitness "
- Police operations “Field Skills, Riot Dispersal, Vital Installation Protection and Practical Police Combat Skills”.
- Weapons “small and assisting”.
- Shooting “theoretical and practical exercises”
- Supplementary subjects which differ according to the targeted year of study:
- Cavalry.
- Swimming.
- Civil Defense and Firefighting.
- Driving and Mechanics.
- Security Situations Simulation & Graduation Projects.
- Skills Training.
Moreover, fourth year cadets receive skills - training in different police institutes on: VIPs protection, criminal evidence, public funds, anti - narcotics, communications and operations room.
- Devising some practical training subjects, such as; Kung - Fu and barriers crossing (for first year cadets).
- Increasing the training dose in some police practical subjects that are considered basics of the work of police officers, such as; physical fitness, shooting, weapons, police operations and military training.
- Developing some new methods of training on shooting such as shooting under stress, tactical shooting, shooting with two different kinds of weapons (pistol and light machine gun). In addition several competitions on different training activities are held in order to make sure that the cadets have made full use of the training curricula as well as to establish the spirit of competition among them.

Police College does not only concentrate on preparing training programs suitable to its cadets , but also gives great care to create and prepare training cadres , believing in the role the trainer plays in the security training system. |
| Security Situations Simulation: |
Hypothesis of scientific research, planning, new concepts of administration and the role of IT in supporting security decision- making process are all considered bases to the simulation training. Security Situations Simulation program focuses on fields such as; crime combat, terrorism as well as rescue and civil defense. The simulation program depends on the best security training theories and is carried out under the supervision of experienced security cadres. The program is subject to continuous developments and improvements so as to: |
- Ensure the continuity of the training plans in an organized manner and laying the scientific basis which guarantees their upgrading and development in the future in accordance with the real needs of security work.
- Guarantee the sustainability of basic training concepts and the training policy included the general plan of the Ministry of Interior.
- Widen the scope of scientific specialization and preparing cadres of trainers who are capable of continuing the march in the light of the developments witnessed at the security arena.
- Further the research capabilities of Police College cadets and trainers, utilizing the technical research projects prepared by the cadets under the supervision of a panel of cadres experienced in different fields.
- Enhance cooperation between the College and the specialized research institutions interested in security situations with the aim to create new scientific security visions.

| Police College Rescue Team: |
| Asserting its active role and vital participation on the national level, Police Academy formed a voluntary rescue team of Police College cadets and officers, consisting of one hundred officers and cadets from the different years of study. Members of the team are carefully selected, properly equipped and well trained (whether inside or outside the College) so as to assure the effectiveness of their contribution in different rescue operations. The step surely represents a new approach adopted by Police College to assume a new national and humanitarian role. |
