The college witnesses, during the academic year, various cultural activities including several scientific and cultural symposia as well as numerous meetings. In the framework of these activities, the college issues a scientific adjudged magazine specialized in police science.

- The Scientific Adjudged Magazine Issued by the College:
The college issues a scientific semi-annual magazine. This is called “Post-Graduate Studies College Magazine”. The magazine is specialized in Police Sciences and up till July 2006 fifteen publications were issued.
- The College Information Center and Library:
The information center was established in 2005 with the aim to open new horizons before the researchers and enable them to get information through direct connection with internet full-text databases specialized in the field of Police Sciences and auxiliary sciences relevant to security work. It is possible to access the College Electronic Library Index through the Ministry’s site on the Internet, as it is compatible with the Web Applications.
- The College Information Center and Library:
The information center was established in 2005 with the aim to open new horizons before the researchers and enable them to get information through direct connection with internet full-text databases specialized in the field of Police Sciences and auxiliary sciences relevant to security work. It is possible to access the College Electronic Library Index through the Ministry’s site on the Internet, as it is compatible with the Web Applications. The Library contains over nine thousand references, which are divided into five sections: Arab and foreign references; periodicals; Ph.D. Theses and researches. The library was developed and all its contents were stored on computer systems for easy and fast reference in order to meet the needs of the researchers and to serve the pedagogical targets. The College Library is considered the first at the Ministry of Interior's level; since its contents are electronically indexed and easily accessed by scholars. Moreover, the library provides the news archive service about the issues relevant to all the security aspects and the up-to-date issues. It provides the borrowing service, and dedicates the scholars’ publications to all the departments of the Ministry and to the various universities and research centers in Egypt and the Arab World in coordination with the authorities concerned.
- Computer Center
Considering that Computer Science has become one of the sciences that police officers should study to keep pace with the new age and to know about the latest technologies, the College set up a program aiming at providing the scholars with the guidelines to Computer Science , the use of computer and Internet and means of application and benefit from these technologies in the police work. A Computer Center has been established at the College for training purposes, and it is supervised by specialized officers who attended advanced training courses in this field.
- . Teaching Foreign Languages:
Upgrading officers' foreign-language skills helps them to understand the subjects of study in foreign languages whether English or French, and enable them to read the foreign references and new studies and researches on the various security areas. The College is concerned with teaching these languages to help the officer to join the UN missions, as well as to upgrade his standard to be able to collect the scientific data when traveling abroad.
- Symposia & Scientific and Cultural Seminars:
In such symposia, the College hosts experts and public figures. During such symposia an open dialogue is held where the guest answers all the questions. The College hosted several public figures, politicians and religious scholars in various occasions. In 2002 the College organized an Egyptian-French seminar in the field of Crisis and Disaster Management at the Police Academy Headquarters at Abbasseya. During this seminar, the College hosted a number of senior leaders of the French Civil Protection Authority and a number of the French experts who work in the crisis and disaster management field so as to present the French experience in this field. |
