Ganzouri confers with interior minister on securing the Egyptian street |
| Prime Minister Kamal el-Ganzouri on Thursday 08-12/2011 had talks with Interior Minister Mohammed Ibrahim Youssef and other security leaders for talks on securing the coming two phases of parliamentary elections and restoring law and order to the Egyptian street. |
| Ganzouri listened, at the meeting, to security plans outlined by the Interior Ministry, in cooperation with the Armed Forces, for maintaining security during the legislative elections, whose second phase will kick off next week. |
| Youssef, meanwhile, asserted that maintaining the security of the Egyptian citizen comes on top of his priorities. |
