The government of Prime Minister Ibrahim Mahlab took the constitutional oath on Tuesday 17/6/2014 before President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi at the Ittihadiya Presidential Palace.

Mahlab completed the line up of the new 34-member cabinet.

"There is absolutely no truth to what has been reported online, citing a western news agency, on Egypt's hiring an internet and social media monitoring firm", Information Security Center official said.

The security official also urged media outlets to check with the Ministry of Interior before promoting such news, especially during the current challenges that aim to destabilize the country, stir public opinion and undermine the ministry's efforts.
